Basin and Tap Deep Cleaning in Gqeberha

Descaling and detailed cleaning of basins, taps, plugholes and surrounds in commercial washrooms.

A High-Touch Surface That Shows Wear First

Basins are among the most used and most closely inspected surfaces in any washroom. They are also where limescale, soap residue and hand-cream build-up collect fastest, particularly around tap bases, plugholes, overflow openings and the join between the basin and the counter.

These are narrow, awkward areas. Routine daily cleaning keeps the visible bowl presentable but rarely reaches them, so build-up accumulates gradually until the basin looks dull or marked no matter how often it is wiped.

A basin deep clean addresses those specific points, using descaling methods appropriate to the material of the basin and fittings.

What Is Covered

Descaling of the basin bowl and surround
Tap bases, spouts, handles and mixer fittings
Plugholes, wastes and overflow openings
Counter joins, silicone lines and splashbacks
Underside of basins and exposed pipework where accessible
Soap dispensers and adjacent fittings
Mirrors and mirror surrounds above the basin line
Sanitising of the completed basin area

How the Service Is Delivered

01

Assessment

We check basin material, fitting types, scale levels and any existing damage before proposing a method.

02

Method selection

Products and tools are matched to the surface, particularly on stone, composite or coated fittings.

03

Descaling and cleaning

Build-up is removed from the bowl, fittings and the surrounding joins.

04

Sanitise and finish

Surfaces are sanitised, dried and checked for streaking or residue.

Important Limitations

  • Cannot restore glazing that has been etched by abrasive cleaning or harsh chemicals used previously
  • Cannot guarantee results on chipped, crazed or corroded fittings
  • Replacement of silicone seals, wastes or tap fittings is not included
  • Leaking taps and blocked wastes require a plumber
  • Permanent staining on porous stone or composite counters may not fully lift
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Will descaling damage our fittings?+

Not when the method is matched to the surface. This is why the assessment identifies material types first, particularly for stone counters, brushed finishes and coated taps.

Our basins look permanently marked. Can they be recovered?+

It depends on whether the mark is build-up or damage. Build-up generally lifts. Etching, corrosion and crazing are damage to the surface itself and will not.

Can this be done during office hours?+

Yes, though the basins in that washroom will be unavailable while the work is in progress. Many clients prefer outside hours for busy facilities.

Is this included in a full washroom deep clean?+

Yes. It can also be booked on its own where basins are the main concern.
