Consumables Supply

Cleaning Equipment and Consumables in Gqeberha

The mops, cloths, brushes, trolleys and daily items a cleaning operation actually runs on.

Small Items, Direct Effect on Standards

Cleaning standards are limited by equipment more often than by effort. A worn mop head redistributes soil instead of lifting it. A single cloth used across a washroom and a canteen moves contamination between them. A trolley without proper compartments slows every round.

These items are cheap individually and easy to defer, which is exactly why they are usually the weakest part of a cleaning operation.

Skyway supplies janitorial equipment and consumables on a managed basis, including colour-coded systems that prevent cross-contamination between areas — the single most effective low-cost control in commercial cleaning.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is colour coding and why does it matter?+

Cloths and equipment are assigned colours per area — washroom, kitchen, general — so items are never used across zones. It is the simplest and cheapest way to prevent cross-contamination, and it only works if applied consistently.

How often should mop heads be replaced?+

More often than most sites replace them. Interval depends on use and laundering, and is set at specification.

Do you supply cleaning machines?+

Machine supply and servicing are handled separately from consumables and quoted on request.

Can you supply if we do our own cleaning in-house?+

Yes. Many clients use Skyway for supply while running their own cleaning team.
